Description / Scope:
VeriWave is seeking a QA Engineer to work with product development to ensure both existing and new products continue to meet the high quality requirements for industry standard test equipment. This person will be responsible for maintaining and extending the automated test systems, working with engineering in an agile development environment to find and isolate product defects, reproducing any issues reported from the field, and configuring and managing the test networks. You will work with a variety of development engineers (SW GUI, embedded, protocols; and HW fpga) at all stages of product development and product launch, influencing the design approaches to increase testability and product quality.
Requirements:
- BS Engineering, or equivalent, and 5+ years of related experience
- Demonstrated coding skills, knowledge of object oriented languages, Python, MySQL helpful
- Working knowledge of NPI, product development lifecycles and the role QA plays
- Working knowledge of automated regression testing
- Good organizational skills; tenacity
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to setup and maintain simple networks (VLANs, routing, WLAN, etc.)
Desired:
Exposure to network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, DHCP, etc.)
